Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine combines R&B, soul gospel, and jazz into the style that is his own. Avery Sunshine's performances have been on Broadway as well as at various festivals across Europe. She has also performed at performing at Democratic National Convention. Sunshine's real name is Denise White. Although she is based in Atlanta, her roots are in Chester Pennsylvania. There she first began to develop the musical profession by performing and singing in a church. After graduation from Spellman College, Atlanta she embarked on her journey of music in the Atlanta's R&B musical scene. The Fighting Temptations The first single with her vocals was Stalk You which was a house 12-inch released exclusively in Japan and has since been remixed by a variety of producers and has become the mainstay in her live show. Her voice was also added to the soundtrack for The Fighting Temptations. in 2005 Tyler Perry hired her as the primary keyboardist in his stage play Meet the Browns. Jennifer Holliday was the Grammy and Tony Award winner who approached her in 2007 for a position as the Choral Director for Dreamgirls which was a stage production of Atlanta's National Black Arts Festival. Sunshine became famous during the four daily performances in 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine went on to sing during the 2009 Obama Inauguration.
