Jeanie Marie Buss is an American businesswoman. she is currently president as well as the sole owner of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. Buss, who is born in California was born into an exceptionally wealthy family. Their father Jerry Buss was a real-estate tycoon who later became the manager of the Lakers and other businesses related to sports. In 1972, her parents broke up up and she felt emotionally left out. When she was 19 years old she inherited the Los Angeles Strings professional Tennis team as the General Manager. Then, she established the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. She was the president at the Great Western Forum, before becoming Vice President for the Lakers. Buss and her siblings, five sisters and brothers, as well as their father who was the owner of the Lakers and was their controlling shareholder up to his passing away in 2013, received this ownership by way of an estate.
